We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Product Team in our Head Quarters in Gånghester. As a Senior Buyer, you will be driving our purchasing strategy with precision, insight, and a deep understanding of production dynamics.

In this role, you will take a central position in our fabric and product purchasing processes, ensuring just-in-time deliveries, optimizing profitability, and securing the right supplier split in close collaboration with the Buying & Production Director. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers, and help us deliver superior-quality, relevant products to our customers. Regular travel to suppliers is required.

The role is a full-time employment reporting to our Buying & Production Director in the Product Team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES

  • Set, drive and execute the overall purchase strategy for your assortment area.
  • Work proactively with suppliers to secure efficient production flows and just-in-time deliveries—optimizing stock turn and profitability
  • Coordinate fabric/yarn/raw material consolidations, reservations, and production capacity
  • Set forecasts and timelines for fabric and product purchases to secure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the Planning Team to ensure purchase timelines align with production schedules
  • Negotiate pricing and optimize profitability based on volumes and targets.
  • In close collaboration with suppliers and Quality Team ensure that all purchased fabrics/products meet our quality standards

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning and buying
  • Degree in Fashion/Textile Management, Business Administration, Buying or equivalent
  • Experience in production planning or operations is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to translate insights into actions
  • Skilled at driving your own process and working independently while maintaining collaboration
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clarify data and plans effectively
  • Proficient in systems and administration, with attention to accuracy and structure
  • Familiarity with PLM and ERP systems, preferably Be Product, Dynamics 365, Power BI
