European & International markets Business Controller Wholesale

Eton is seeking to hire a European & International markets Business Controller to join the global Wholesale team.

You will be responsible of ensuring effectiveness and profitability in the wholesale business globally. You will be a key player in the wholesale team and work closely with many different stakeholders throughout the company with the goal to set optimal strategies and maximize sales at the highest possible margin.

As a part of the Global wholesale Team you will report directly to the Global Chief Sales Officer, but also have a functional reporting line to the Head of BIA.

The position is full-time and is based in Stockholm, Sweden or Munich, Germany.

Occasional travel will be required to be able to maximize the outcome in certain areas.

Major responsibilities:

• Tracking, Analyzing and Reporting on performance metrics and KPI:s across all the areas of the wholesale business; i.e. sales, costs, customers, products, sell-in and sell-out, inventory, profitability, payments etc. 
• Budgeting and Forecasting responsibility to ensure predictability in the business as well as recommending actions to keep the pace up whenever needed (sales, cogs, opex and capex). 
• Securing Data Quality and Availability across key tools and systems used so that the team can always trust the data and have it readily available (financial system and relevant business intelligence system). 
• Continuously Evaluate and Develop KPI:s and follow-up tracking in relevant tools. 
• Segmentation and Analysis of customer data and behavior to identify full potential. 
• Work directly together with Sales Managers towards Key Customers to set and continuously evaluate optimal product offerings and strategies based on performance.  
• Key liaison for Department Head in achieving department specific OKRs, setup of environment needed to track progress vs goals with clear calls to action. 
• Be the go-to-person for data and analytical needs of the team, automating recurring tasks (i.e. with dashboards), coaching and training others to become more data driven in their own roles. 
• Perform ad-hoc business cases related to customers, markets, projects, campaigns etc, as well as recommending actions related to these. 
• Work closely with other Business Controllers and Department Heads in various tasks and processes, and represent wholesale’s as well as Eton’s best interest in these. 

The experience you’ll bring is:

• Degree in Business Administration/Finance, Data Science or similar.
• +3 years work experience within a similar role.
• Strong understanding and ability to draw relevant conclusions from data and translate this to clear actions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong social skills and a passion for driving change
• Preferred previous knowledge of BI related reports and tools such as Power BI, Dynamics 365, Centra, Excel, Power Point.
• High level of initiative and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
