Eton is seeking to hire a Sales Manager to lead our existing business and expansion in the greater Asia and Oceania regions. This position is a key role within the global wholesale team,  responsible for expanding our traditional wholesale network of customers, selection of and collaboration with third party business partners and HR responsibilities for our future in-house sales team.  The position will be based in a mutually agreed upon Eton wholesale office in Europe or North America. You will report to Eton’s Chief Sales Officer.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Key responsible and communication partner with all import/distribution partners and wholesale customers
    • Initial focus countries include Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong/Mainland China, South Korea and Japan
  • Build long term strategic plan with each partner with on-going progress report and follow up meetings to ensure execution
    • Responsible for updates and finalization of all contracts related to partners and customers
  • Set up all customers with Eton digital tools (i.e. digital showroom, B2B/MTM digital app, Endless Aisle) where possible
  • Execute Forward Order (FO) sell-in for Spring, Holiday, High Summer/Pre-Fall and Fall/Winter collections
  • Lead and manage all Eton initiatives and strategies with our partners (e.g. IT, marketing, business analysis, product special makeups)
  • Work with import/distribution partners to select and train Eton store personnel
  • Lead and coordinate with import/distribution partners’ teams to support wholesale customers’ store positioning, presentation, staff training and product sell-out
    • Collaborate with partners on seasonal travel calendar with ROI maximization as KPI
    • Evaluate, adjust planning for, and lead activities to respond to partners’ store visit reporting
  • Work closely with Eton business planners to develop optimal FO purchases, and Direct Order (DO) replenishment models, as well as other in-season actions to maximize regular price sell-thru, top line growth and profit
  • Close partnership with Eton Digital Wholesale Team in supporting function with pure on-line, marketplace, and brick-and-click on-line businesses
  • Close partnership with Eton Logistics and Warehouse Teams to support excellence in shipping preparation and execution
    • Selection lead and main liaison for alternative logistics solutions including 3PL
  • Audit annual budget proposal received from Eton Business Intelligence team with bottoms up perspective and confirm corresponding OPEX/CAPEX supporting budgets

The experience you will bring is: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in premium or luxury apparel and/or accessories
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications or related field or combination of relevant education and/or experience
  • Ability to manage high volume of workflow, prioritization, planning and task delegation under tight deadlines 
  • Ability to work successfully as both a member of a team, leading teams and independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to think critically and creatively, have a high standard of integrity, and be motivated to incorporate best practices into the organizational structure
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Business level written and spoken English
  • Multi-language skills are a plus
