Responsibilities

· Design, build, and evolve Eton’s backend services (.NET) powering core order, product, and integration flows.

· Partner with the Digital Solutions Manager and Integration Architect on architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

· Improve performance, observability, and security across APIs and data pipelines.

· Translate business goals into technical outcomes and communicate trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.

· Maintain coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for consistent delivery quality.

· Mentor developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.

You will be part of the Business Tech team and report to the Digital Solutions Manager. This position is full-time and based at our headquarters in Gånghester.

Experience and Qualifications

· 3+ years of backend development experience.

· Strong proficiency in .NET (C#).

· Hands-on experience with both relational and non-relational databases

· Proven track record deploying and operating backend services on AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, etc.).

· Solid understanding of CDN and caching strategies for performance optimization.

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).

· Understanding of secure, scalable, and testable system design.

· Comfortable using AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

· Collaborative mindset, clear communicator, and eager to share knowledge within the team.
