We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at Eton’s headquarters in Gånghester. This is a parental leave cover, where you will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvements in our finance operations.

Responsibilities

As Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis within the retail segment. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Managing accounting transactions, monthly and annual closings, and publishing accurate financial statements on time

  • Preparing reconciliations, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and variance analyses (YTD/MTD vs. last year and budget)

  • Handling tax calculations, VAT reporting, and submissions to authorities (e.g., SCB, social security)

  • Ensuring timely and accurate bank payments and administration of internal recharges

  • Acting as the main point of contact for accounting queries during interim and year-end audits

  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and IFRS standards, including regular control testing

  • Managing monthly accruals to ensure stability and accuracy within COGS and OPEX reporting lines

  • Acting as the main point of contact for the retail organisation on accounting matters

This is a full-time parental leave cover starting in January 2026 and ending in March 2027. The position reports to the Finance Manager.


Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in an international setting

  • Solid knowledge of Swedish accounting principles and VAT regulations

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

  • Strong IT skills; experience with Dynamics 365 is an advantage
